SWIMMING
Visitors to the Alaisterton swimming .'carnival to-morrow-are assured, of a a-eal good day's outing atvl sport. The Mastorton Municipal Band will bein attendance and will render a selected programme of music, which should add greatly to the entertainment. Among those competing in principal events include M. V. Stranger, Wellington's candidate- for this year's 100 yards championship; F. Seymour, Hawke's Bay long distance champion and .the star performer of last year'-s carnival.. Seating accommodation is being provided in front of the course for the public, and every effort is being made" to make this year's carnival a decided success.
