Li view of the projected visit to tliis district of the Minister for Public. AVorks, it is desirable that the Mastorton Cliainlier oi' Commerce and the local bodies interested should make definite arrangements for his reception, 'entertainment and acquaintance with the urgent requirements of the district. There are several most important matter-; that should he. hrought under the notice of the Minister, chief of which are the J\imutaka. deviation and the opening; up of the l>ack!>lo<-ks by menus of roads and railways. The Chamber of Commorco would be doing justice by itself and. the district if it were to take the initiative.
