AN EYESORE.
A correspondent draws attention to an eyesore that :ha& .recently been provided in Master ton, in the shape of posts at street corners, to indicate the stands for taxi-cabs. We confess that Ave are quite in sympathy with, the remarks of our correspondent. The Borough Council should not have permitted the erection of «uch unsightly things. The Town Beautifying Society has been doing excellent work, and ft should make representations to the Borough Council on t!: % subject. It is only a small matter; but it is the small things which count in the aggregate.
