EFFECT OF INCREASED WAGES

Mr Alfred Wallace, President of the Land Nationalisation Society, in an interview, said that continually increasing workers wages was the mos-t beneficial thing for any country.
"Great Britain," he said, "was the
I richest country in the world, yet the bones of starvation were clanking and rattling and we do nothing eyeent say with a shrug of shoulders,' 'Lot 'em starve.' " The accumulation of wealth was criminal. Tho problem would be solved if it was legislated that the unborn should not ha.ve right's; then the State would become the inheritor and could make ample provision for its heirs.
