MAN USES A REVOLVER

WANGANUI, Last Night
[ It was reported just' before mid-day I that a murder had taken place in 'Keith"Street, but'investigation' proved that, whatever the intentions of the assailant may have been. che actual result was not of so serioti«\a nature. Tt appears that a man named Andrew Mather visited a house occupied by Violet, Howard, and ••'while' there was surprised by another visitor named James Dunn, who pulled out a revolver and ordered Mather to clear out'. ...Mather lost no time in doing so. When about a chain from the house. Dunn fired twice, a bullet going through one of Mather's ankles. The injured man made his way to town, where he was attended by a doctor. Dunn was arrested.
