DOCTORS IN PROVINCES JOIN THE PANELS.

(Reeeived January 7. 10 a.m.') LONDON. January 6,

In connection witfy tho insurance scheme, the doctors in many of the provincial districts, who had previously refused to work under the Act. are now joining the medical panels.

The British Medical Association is calling up £40.000 of tho £200,000 defence fund, hoping to prevent further doctors joining fhe panels. Out of 6500 doctors in London, only one-tenth have joined the panels.
