FEDERATION OF LABOUR.
The Federation of Labour has convened a conference, to be held at Wellington .on January 21st, to plan "a vigorous campaign to end the power of a party frankly hostile to Labour, and to amend the anomalies of a law used to further organised blaokfeggisin." This is the Federation that renounced the political weapon in favour of the strike. It doe* not state precisely how it proposes to "amend the anomalies" of the law. Presumably it jril] pa,s fi .restrfntion to cfce
effect that* Mr Massey be consigned to oWiviou, that Judge Sim bo Incinerated, and that the Red Flag be hoisted over Parliament buildings! For some, reason or another, however, the great bulk of the Labour Unions of the Dominion are viewing things in a diflerent light. They treat the Red Feds, and their conference with an air of almost -supreme contempt.
