SEXUAL VICE.
The Rev A. T. Thompson, 8.A., 8.D., of Masterton, recently delivered a series of addresses, or sermons, on the somewhat bedraggled subject of i "What's Wrong with Masterton?" Tn those addresses, no direct reference was made to the existence of sexual immorality in the town. The reverend gentleman is now wideTy advertising his intention of preaching upon tho subject of "The Social Problem and Sexual Vice." We cannot imagine this subject being dealt with, in even an euphemistio manner, from tho p.ilpit to a mixed congregation. Tfc is, in fact, not a suY.erithat a minister of religion dare handle as it should be handled before a mixed people. Wo admire tho courage of tho Rev Thompson in drawing attention *o tho existence of a manifest ftvil: but wn cannot commend the method ho proposes adopting for bringing the subject under public notice.
