I A programme that is said to have* Captivated Wellington audiences is to bo screened for the first time in the Town Hall to-night. "A Fisherman's Sacrifice" is, -reported to be a mostthrilling drama, -ft?* -wilj probably bo found to be the star item of t£? fcrtunme, But much may be expected &M front two other dramas, entitled "The Inner Circle" and-"The Doctor'** Close Call." Among the scenics two items in particular call fou; mention on account of their topical bearing on the scenes of the present desperate war in Turkey. They aro entitled "Adriatic Sea" and "Mosques and Turkish Palaces." One is promised something to laugh over excessively in the comics "Per Parcels Post" and "An Interrupted Elopement." The usual matinee takes place on Saturday afternoon when something special is promised for the benefit of young and old.

The change of programme at" tha Foresters' Hall to-night will contain three Vitagraph pictures—the latest from the studio of that popular company. All the popular artists of this firm are seen at their best, and for Sail round excellence the programme would be hard to equal. "The Gam* biers," a special drama by the Vitagraph Co., is billed as the star. Mr.sr Travers, a society leader, is madly in love with Arthur Ingram, a rising diplomat. He loves a young debutante, Beatrice Langton, to whom he is engaged. In her jealousy Mrs Travers induces Beatrice to play bridge with her, and gets her heaVily into debt After many • complications Arthur finds out and forgives Beatrice, paying all her debts in full. T»;o drama's "Wilful Reg" and "The Renunciation ,*[ both by the.A.K. Co., are American pictures 'dealing -with incidents occurring in the great civil war and. Indian life. The Burthais .will perform,- a duo of strong men, and marvellously agile. Pathe Frere.s, have enhanced the effect with their colour photography. Nice, a pleasure resort of tourists from all parts of the world, is pmirtrayed by Patho's. in delicate colours and tints. 'lnstructive pictures are not lacking, thr> latest English Gazette and "Rice Growing in China" play a prominent part in that direction. The humorous side is ably catered for by three- scrcairers, "Spooks," "Never Again," and "Unlucky Mirror" are full of mirtiand hilarity. A splendid picture of the Palmerston Show, in which manv Mastertonians are to be seen, will presented. "The Nippers' Lullaby" in a splendid Vitagraph drama., while "Arabian Treachery" wil bo re-shown to-night by special request.
