POSSESSION OF A HALL

WAIHI, Last Night. This afternoon a number of Federationists who lately returned, quietly entered the Miners' Union Hall, and have established quarters there. A crowd assembled in the main street, awaiting the workers coming off thu day shift. The latter, acting under took no action concerning the occupation of the premises of which they had been in possession since November 12th. The legal sStatus of the respective parties regarding the possession of the hall will probably be the subject of litigation. The Waihi Company have issued an official notification that only suitable miners, who must be members of a Union registered under the Arbitration Act, will be employed.
