CLOSER SETTLEMENT
ANOTHER ESTATE OFFERED. 'Hid FtrMy hurst estate, sixteen miles to tho east of Mastcrton, has been placed under offer to the Government for closer settlement purposes. The estate comprises about 4500 acres, of which 2400 acres are flat and ploughable. None of tho property is what may be termed broken, and it is considered that the land would cut up into farms of from :.UX) to 500 acres in extent. It is not improbable that an officer will bo .sent up to report.
