(To the Editor."* 'Sir—You state in your leading article of to-tlnv that ft systematic inspection is made of the dairies which supply milk to tho town. Would you be surprised to know that milk from badly-diseased cows is being supplied to consumers in Mastcrton at the present time?—l am, etc., CONSUMER. (We should be very surprised to know thai whit our correspondent states is correct. We have the assurance of tho officers of the Stock Department that the registered dairy herds are systematically inspected.— Ed. Ar«.)
