CANADIAN CADETS.
ENTERTAINED AT INVERCARGTLL. (By Teteornvh —Presx A tunmnfum.) ' INV.ERCARGILL, Last Niglit. The Canadian cadets wero taken for a motor trip to Winton this morning, and on arrival there wore welcomed by the Mayor, and entertained at luncheon. They returned to Inverearcill in the afternoon, and played a football match with a team of local cadet.s, Invercargill winning by six points to three. The Canadian hoys play the conventional game but are not up to the K+nndard of New Zealand football. This evening they attended a picture show, and to-morrow tliev will leave for Dunedin.
