PROPOSED WOOLLEN MILLS.
We observe that the movement n\!uk in Mavtorton in the direction of establishing woollen mill.s is causing our enterprising friends at Pa lmerston North to ask themselves a question upon the subject. Palmerston, however, is not nearly as well situated as Masterton for this particular industry. It is necessary, however, that the lead given hy the local Chamber of Commerce should he followed up, and that without delay. The committee of the Chamber that invited Mr MeEwan to the town would he doing useful service if it were to follow this up hy inducing a suitable ibrokcr to place a prospectus before the public.
