GREECE AND TURKEY
AN ATTEMPT THAT FAILED. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) ATHENS, October 19. M. Corinimaas, Minister of Foreign Affairs, informed the Chamber that the Porte had striven, by all sorts of promises, to detach Greece from the Allies. The Minister of Marine stated that the Grecian fleet was eager 1 "to attack the Turkish fleet.
