THE W.F.C.A.
The address delivered'by the chairman of- directors <A the Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative Association at the annual meeting of shareholders yesterday was of an optimistic character. That a financial stringency is being .experienced' in the '.Dominion, at the present time is unhappily too true; but it is encouraging to think- that the head of the largest commercial enterprise in the district has confidence in the ability of the people to weather the storm. The buoyancy of the markets, with the prospects of a record season, should dispel al! fears for the future. The business of the W.F.C.A. has always been conducted on sound commercial lines, and the institution is in such a position that it can be of valuable assistance to the farmers in times of temporary depression. c t
