LAKE COLERIDGE STRIKE

CHRISTCHURCF, Last Night
A conference was held on Wednesday night between the contractor and representatives of the aien on strike at the Lake Coleridge ihydro-electrical works. No settlement was arrived at. A statement of the position of affairs at Lake Coleridge has been forwarded by the secretary of the General Labourers' Union to the executive of, the New Zealand Federation of Labour, which is meeting in Wellington to-day.
