SENTENCED TO DEATH
FOE ATTEMPTED MURDER. (Received Last Night, 9.20 o'clock'.) ; MELBOURNE, September 19. The man Moore wa s found guilty of attempting to murder Mr Syme, one of the proprietors of the Age newspaper, on August 21st, and was sentenced to death. (It will be remembered that Moore, who is a noted burglar, entered the room of My Syme. A desperate struggle ensued, in, which the two men /••!!'.-.1. down a stairway.
