The weather was threatening in the morning, but the sun broke out and and made the games very pleasant. The second round of the amateur championship and professional match were played,- and in the afternoon a bogey handicap was played. Some, games in. the Amateur Championship were well fought out, a capital go being witnessed between B. B. Wood and B. L. Tayloj. In the profess.onnl match W. M. Ewan and J. McCormick played a fine ■ match, the former finishing one up. The Governor took part in a four ball bogey handicap, his partner be'ing A. Duncan, but they were defeated by Kennedy and B. Smith. To v -niorrow the third iround of professional match and "third and fourth rounds of the Amateur Championship will be played, and the final of the Amateur Championship will <be played on Saturday.
