MASTERTON SESSION. The following cases have been set down for hearing at the sitting of the Supreme Court at Masterton next week r—■ CIVIL ACTIONS. Thorns Walker v. John F a ; r iav Fenwick, claim f or £l5O, possession of land and damages. Marshall A'Beckett McCarthy v. Frank .Tamos White and another, claim for £262 10s (professional 'service), £lO5 of which has been paid into court. This will be heard before a special'jury of four. / E. E. Jones v. J. T. Bieknoll, claim for £551 13s 6d, for wages. A. P. Whatman v. Abraham and Williams, claims for £7OO alleged breach of covenants. Taiawh-o Te Tau v. Francis Delaeh, claim for £5Ol damages for alleged libel. DIVORCE CASES. The following divorce cases are set down sw far for-hearing:— » Louisa Leo (otherwise Louisa Curson) v. George Morris Curson. Catherine Mary Banks v. James Henry Banks. Stella Lois Godbehear v. Bertrand Edwin Godbehear. Four cases havo yet to be set down. BANKRUPTCY. Official Assignee v. J. J. Mead, a summons to show cause why an instrument hy way of security given under the Chattels Act, 1908, should not be declared void. Several motions for discharge will also come before the court. CRIMINAL CASES. Tho King v. Edward Arthur Jones alleged indecent assault at Carterton. The King v. Bertie James Towers, alleged breaking into a shop at Mangatainoka with intent to commit a crime therein. APPEALS.. Edward Wadham v. Coradine and Whittakef. COMPENSATION CLAIM. r \ Yonlo v. Featherston County "■■oil, claim for £IOSO compensation under the Public Works Art. It is probable that the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) will preside over the sittings.
