Tho extreme north-west corner of the Malice alone escaped. Northcast along the valleys of the Murray, the tributaries' waters have left a track wider than ever before. There was phenomenal rain in the mountain's, Woodspoint getting nearly nine inches in five days. No further fatalities have been reported. There were many narrow escapes. Two men, tising a cattle-trough a:a canoe, rescued two refugees from the tops of trees on the banks of the Gotilburn river. LARGE AREA UNDER FLOOD. ENORMOUS DAMAGE.
