It is alleged that at im? inquest touching the death of her child she stated .she was the wife of Ernest John Stokes, and . "igned her name as Stokes to her depositions. She alfio gave- the child's name as Stokes. The accused, who was only eighteen years' old in February last, approached the Deputy-Registrar of Births." Marriages and Deaths, and attempted to rectify the error.
