MATAHIWI CHEESE FACTORY.
Wo congratulate the settlers of Matahiwi upon; their enterprise in securing the erection of a cheese factory in their district. The market for cheese has been high for some years past, and there is every indication of its continuing so. The importance of a factory to the district cannot be overestimated. The Chairman of Directors was speaking with a knowledge of the facts when Jie said that it would mean the enhancing of the values of the whole of tho surrounding properAll that is required to ensure succes-i is that -the -settlers keep the best of. caws, and that they exercise the most scrupulous cleanliness. Poth of these are essentials in the dairy .industry. We should be glad t'i congratulate o f her portions of the district uut majcing, advance similar to tlrt which it is our pleasing duty *-» "b« able to record in respect to Matahiwi.
