Ono of the sons xss headmaster of the Nelson College, and two others are farming at Mangamahoe and Hastings respectively. , The deceased, who was pre-deceassd by Mrs Fowler some years ago, was< highly respected by those with whom he was acquainted in Masterton.

A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church,. Masterton, yesterday morning, when Mr Ernest J. Douglas, son of Mr and Mrs Donglas, of Taratahi, was married to LiLian Reynolds, youngest daughter of Mrs P. .Reynolds, of Lincoln Road, Masterton. Tlie bride.was attired in a navy blue with a cream hat,- trimmed with ostrich feathers. The bride also carried a bouquet of white daffodils. Miss E. Bannis-tor and Miss J. Douglas acted as bridesmaids, and were attired in cream silk dresses with largo black hats. Mr A. Eddie was best man, and Mr W. Williams groomsman. After the ceremony, which was conducted by the Uev Williams, a reception w r as held, at the house of Mrs Reynolds, \yhen a large number of guests' were entertained. A large number of presents were received by the happy couple. Mr and Mrs Douglas left by train for Palmerston en route, to Auckland where the honeymoon will be spent.
