WYKEHAM-NAJJLE COM PAN V. Nowa-days theatregoer delight to witness good, clean, wholeso-Ho complays that cause all worry and trouble to disappear, and give them a good night's enjoyment. This is promised to the Masterton audiencenext Friday evening, when tho Wyke-ham-Nable Musical Oomodv Company will produce "Who's William?" one of tho latest successes. This brightand sparkling comedy has drawn crowded houses in each of the centres. The management have been successful in securing artists who are at the top of the tree in their profession players who have toured these parts with leading managers, including J. C. Williamson, Clark and Meynell, Hiigh J. Ward, and others. It is hardly necessary to dilute on such a reputable artist as Miss Grassy Preston. ■ The same applies to. Miss Maud Chetwynd. who has always been a favourite'with Dominion - audiences. Miss Alice Moffet, a new member of tho company, was specially engaged in England by the CfarkMeynell Company to replace Miss Winifred O'Connor as "Sombia" in "The Arcadians," and she made an instanteous success. Slie has rare tal--ent as an actress, and is a singer of a very high order. The leading male characters are in tho hands of Mr Keg. Wykcbam, Mr Edward Nable, and Mr Max Montosole. The lastmentioned actor played recently in London in Beerbohm Tree's production of "Oliver Twist," and .has toured the States as low comedian witli Miss Ellen''Terry. Mr Ernest Lashbrook has played in Drury Lane pantomime, and reminds one of the late Johnny Coleman, both as a dancer, . singer, and actor. Messrs Thorsby, Ward, Hunter, Blachaixl and others make up a well-balanced cast. The company should be rewarded with a bumper house. The box plan is open at the Dresden. THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURE*. Another large audience greeted the last screening -of the current programme at the Foresters' Hall last, evening. To-night there are a number of special attractions. The dramatic section contains among others the following gems: "Counsel for the Defence" (a story of the law courts featuring Maurice Costello).
