THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
Another good house greeted the final screening of tho current programme at. the Foresters' Hall last night. The change to-night is an exceptionally good one, and for all round excellence cannot be beaten. "Lodgings for a Night," by the American Biograph Company is a fine play with Miss Dolly Nicholson in the lead. In an A.B. conception, "Tho-Furs," . we have farcjo comedy of the most humorous type, and again by the same combination more humour "When the Fire Bells Rang." "'Captain King's Rescue" (Lubin) is well told in Mexican atmosphere. Another clever Lubin in "Honour and the Sword.' 1 This picture contains a great rapier scene, when honour is righted, and everything terminates happily. Many items of interest are tied up in Pathe's Gazette and the Gaumont Graphic, and a very pretty novelty is "Baby's Start in Life." Many laughs may be expected from Kalem's comedy, "Getting the Money," "Polodore's Lunch," "Tilly and the Dogs," and "Working for a Hubby" (Vitagraph), a story of the Ananias Club, where we see fat Bunny np to his many tricks again. "The Three Grenadiers" is a pretty military episode. "An Indian Martyr," a story of the Redskins, and '.'Hatred at the Music Hall," a drama of the stage. Tho children's matinee will take place at. 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, when there* will be another great treat for the children.
