ASTERTON PICTURE COMPANY.

"A WOMAN'S WAY."

The change of programme submit-i ted by tho Masterton Picture Com-" pany at the Town Hall last evening, attracted a. big audience. Tho fare' provided was quite up to the usual high standard of picture photographythat the public has come to-expect from the management, who have gone to much inconvenience to secure the very highest class of films. "A AVoman's way" is a very clever drama, - which in a most realistic and dramatic manner details the story of a woman's sacrifice to save the man she loves. The story is powerfully * conceived, and running through it there is a deeply pathetic vein. The final scene in which the woman dies in tho presence of her husband, that was to be, and her lover, is full of pathos. The entire piece represents a very high class »f drama that generally appeals to an enlightened audience. Of the remaining films there are a number of unique scenic and educatioal pictures including Australian Gazette, which always has something new to unfold. "Marseilles to Bastia" is an exceptionally fine coloured Pathe, being a gorgeous display of some of the world's finest scenery. "Nick Winter's New Pupil" and "His Mother in Law'-' are-comedies of a very, pronounced type, and are resonsible for the greatest amusement.
