BURGLARY IN MASTERTON
RESIDENT'S HOUSE ENTERED

Information reached tho police on Saturday morning that a burglary had been committed on the Upper Plain road, Masterton, on tho previous night, tho houso of Mr Harold Dixon having been entered and ransacked. Mr Dixon was away from home, and Mrs Dixon, on going to a back room on Saturday morning, found the door locked on the inside. She went round to the window, and found it open. An investigation revealed the fact a. 'containing money, and a quantity of jewellery had been removed. , It", is supposed" that the, burglar effected an entrance through the window.
