Sidey, M.P., to m.ake use c f when his Daylight' Saving Bill goes into Committee. °At a public mooting at Mooko Jaw, Saskatchewan (Canada), tho city officials and townspeople the other day unanimously resolved to advances the time m their city by one hour, commencing at midnight on May 30, and mg throughout the summer months: It is expected that tliis extra hour of daylight will go a long way towards stimulating amateur sports in the city, as it will-enable the business men to attend baseball, cricket, and tennis games, ami aquatic spoils, which will from now be held after (J p.m. j\ r ow that. Moose Jaw has made the initial move, many cities in Western Canada will probably follow suit, and it will eventually mean the adoption/, to a certain extent, of the principle" of the Daylight Saving Bill in so far as the Prairie Provinces are concerned; m the opinion of many cf the more progressive men of the West.
