CHURCH SERVICES

At tin; Baptist (jnircli, Murray's Hall, to-morrow Pastor Swiaerd's subjects will be: Morning, "Consider Mini" ; evening, "A Form of Godliness but .Denying the Power" ; and a solo by Mr Swinerd. The first anniversary of the Baptist Church and Sunday School combined will be held on Sunday, September Ist. Rev A. North, father of Rev J. J. North, will eonduct the services. The Presbyterian Men's Society will meet at 10 a.m. to-morrow, Mr G. Falla conducting. At Tvnox Church the morning and evening services will be taken by the Rev G. H. Ralph. On Tuesday night the annual tea and congregational meeting will be held. A student from Wesley College will conduct the services at the Methodist Church. Masterton, to-morrow morning, and at Kuripuni in the evening. The Rev S. ,T. Sorpell will preach at Kuripuni in the morning, and at Masterton in the evening, and at Rangitumau in the afternoon. The morning service at the Congregational Church to-morrow will be conducted by Mr A. J. Minifie. and the evening service by Mr F. T. Redmon. The men's class will meet fit 10 a.m., and the young women's class at, 2.30 p.m. Presbyterian Church services will be held to-morrow in the morning at Bideford, in the afternoon at Wangaehu, and Kopuaranga, and in the evening nt Liin.'downe.
