WELLINGTON, Last Night. A,t the Supreme Court to-day, before the Chief Justice, William E'ii.v was charged with assaulting Edward Kelly with intent to do bodily harm, and with doing, actual bodily harm. He was found not guilty of the major charge, and guilty of common assault, and was admitted to probation for 12 months, the condition bei. g that lie should not touch alcoholic hr quor within that period, and that he pay £8 8s costs. John Allbert Crribett and Albert Stockbridge ;ver > charged with having broken and entered the premises of Messrs F. Cooper, Ltd., ' seedmen. Corbett was .f.OTiiid not guilty. Stockbridge, who pleaded guilty, was remanded for rentence.
