COURTS PROTECT GAMBLERS

NEW YORK, August 5,
Police Commissioner Waldor has recommended a thorough investigationof the charges regarding the connection of the police with gamblers. Waldo alleged that thte courts .practically protect gamblers, who do much corruption in electiam work, and place judges on the benches.
