TRANSPORT WORKERS ARMING

RIOTERS SENT TO GAOL.

Owing to the attack on the Tilbury railway, troops are guarding .the line. Captain Tupper, of the Sailors' and Firemen's Union, asserts that the transport workers are incensed at ■non-unioniste carrying firearms, and i are now selling remnants of furniture •to purchase weapons. Twelve t'housand .Liverpool dockers, have struck as a .protest against the inauguration of a clearing-louse scheme to facilitate the collection of insurance contributions.
