FRENCH MURDER CASE
SENSATIONAL TRIAL

PARIS, June 30. The trial of Paul Houssard, who in September last killed M. Guillotin, near Tours, has concluded. Houssard was found jmilty and sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment. The trial was a sensational one, owing to the beauty of GuiPotiVs widow, who was brought from Tours in a motor-car daily and smuggled into Court.
J (Houssard is a cousin of Madame Guillotin. He was also her lover. The woman confessed to a female friend of hers, n. Mdlle. Landreaii. that Houssard had shot her husband. Mdlle. Laudreau keot the secret for a time, \ then its weight oppressed her, and she I informed the police.)
