The Pipe ißand (under 'Pipe-Major Pearson) rendered a numbor of .choice yseleotitm?. Barring the •evening, Mr J. B. McKenzie (chairairaini of rt?he Pipe. Band Comimtt&e), presented Mr Buchanaui with 'a hand Borne eiifarged ipihotogrfiph of the Band and officers, suitably ii:iseiri.bed rimd framed in oak. The health of 'the me;mfcr fcr WrJnaraipa was proposed iby Mr A. McLeod, Chief of the. -Socie'ty, the proposition being heartily supported by 'Mr G. B. Sykos, M.P. Mr Bmoha-naai suitably responded,, expreasintg h:'i> giralbitud© to the Society and Band, aod his delight at the progress made by tlhe: latter. Three hetarty .cheers were -given, for Mr Buchanan.
