ASSOCIATION RULES ADOPTED
The •adjourned- meeting in connec■Sion with the Mastertcm , Honorary Territorials was held in Murray's last evening. Tlie Mayor (Mr J. M. Ooradine) presided: over a good attendance, including a number of ladies. '
Several apologies for absence were received.
, lb was decided, on ,the motion of Mr W. H. Jackson., seconded by Mr R. Brown, that the ladies and gentlemen present- form themselves into a caaivne-smg committee, with power t,o ■add to ith' ir n\umber, for the enrolment of members, and thia.t all lists be handed in. at a meeting to be held in a month's time. Mr R. Brown consented to be .acting secretary and treasurer until the aext ■meeting.
•On the (motion of Dr Prior, seconded by Mr H. C. Robinson, the rules cif 'the Association wore adopted.
Mr H. M. Boddington suggested tliat an effort should be made to get Major-General God-ley, who was a great enthusiast in the soh-c-me, to deliver an address : at the next meeting in Masiterton.
The suggestion was heartily approved of, 'and it was decided tio move ■in itihat direction.
Quite a number of new members were enrolled at the close of the meeting.
