Mi - Austral Oiiiunhorlain will to-claj" move in t-ho House of Commons, censuring the McKcnna Commission's report on the economic position of Ireland. Mr Chamberlain, states that the Home Rule Bill contains more than the beginning of a national system of Protection. In view of the serious economic disturbances which the measure would cause, it is essential to maintain the trade between Britain and Ireland, and adopt a single tariff for the United Kingdom, with a. preference to the oversea Dominions.
