Admiralty has been impressed l>y the swiftness and economy shown in connection with repairs executed at the dockyard at Malta. The Admiralty intends to fully use Malta as a naval <base and assign to it sufficient repairing and refitting work to keep the dockyard always capable for the needs of the fleet i.n peace or war. {Received Last MALTA, June 3. The Right Hon. Winston Churchill, First Lord of the Admiralty, has promised to increase the submarine defence of the port.
