ACCUSED FOUND NOT GUILTY AND DISCHARGE]). (Received Last Night, 9 o'clock.) SYDNEY, May 31. At the second trial of Skinner for tho murder of Samuel Watson, who was shot on January L'.'ird, accused, m a statement denied the allegations that he threatened Watson. He accounted for the blood spots on his face j when' arrested by stating that they were from pimples. Ho claimed that lie was absent from <t!he district at the date of the tragedy. A verdict of not guilty was returned, and Skinner was discharged.
Skinner was accused on April 30th last of murdering Samuel Watson, a woodcutter, who was found shot near his home at Hill Grove, Sydney. At the first trial of Skinner the jury, after being locked tip for two days, failed to agree.
