EXAMINATION OF BOOKS QUESTION OF TRAVELLING EXPENSES. (Received Last Night, 9.10 o'clock.) SYDNEY, May 29. In the case in which the Singer Co. is suing Mr F. D. Brown, late manager, to recover £14,000, which it is alleged is due iby the defendant, the Court granted Brown further time to examine the books with an independent accountant, and laai order made to trace the travelling expenses incurred on behalf of the company.
