THE WAIHI STRIKE
PROPOSED CONFERENCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.') WAIiHI, 'Last -Night. The Miners' Federation) delegates, including Messrs Siample and Parry, Lit fbr Wellington to-night.. They will arrange with the secretary of the Gold-m'lnu .Cvners' Aescoiatiom the dnte of the proposed conference, which will most likely be held in Waihi in a week or ten days. Mr Semple states that the Federation will accept the conditions'oir which the Association has consented to a conference.
A meeting of women this afternoon was addressed toy Messrs Semple, Parry and Arm-strong.
