MASTERTON PICTURE COMPANY.

The popularity of the Masterton. Picture Company's cinematographic programme was again clearly demonstrated last evening, by the largo and enthusiastic audience which filled the Town Hall. The star attraction, "A Royal Divorce," agaiin met with hit ovation which is seldom experienced in. Masterton, and is sufficient to show ' the merit of the picture, which mxiat bo considered one of the finest yetshown. The sceiiery, anrl.lb.o costumes I and customs of the' characters titer \ most realistic, and one can readily im--1 agine that he is witnessing a series of roal episodes in-the stirring tiroes when- the famous Emperor Napoleon was the predominant figure in Europe. The drama wiill be remembered as a noble.example of the oinemaitographic art. The remaining items are of a high quality and each represents a gem in its special line. > To-right the management 'have ar- ' ranged another higli-ela.'s entertainment,' a number of the pictures having proved great attractions in other parts of the world, notably, "TheI Angel," a drama of entrancing inter- ' est from first to last, and the kind that leave a lasting impression. "A GreaU. /Wrong Riglited" and- "The 'Marked Arrow" are dramas of exceptional power, representing extraordinary sit- . nations, and are thrilling to the lastdegree. "A Visit to the Right" and "Hanover" are scenics, the former showing the magnificent scenery, of JEj'.vitzer.land, and. the latter the historic Prussian city of Hanover, and ■all its varied points of interest. "His Royal Highness" and "The Poiiy Ex-, press" are comics that compel one to laugh, and are creators of mirtih from first to last. The programme is < ■an excellent one, and cannot fail" to "' do credit to the management. Those out for an evening of rare enjoyment cannot do (better than visit the Town Hall to-nigjht.
