A LABOUR VIEW.
The "Voice of Labour," a journal published in Auckland under the auspices of the N.Z. Labour Party, contained ,an interesting statement in its last issue on the subject of "Syndicalism." The paper says:- "The method's of Syndicalism are the very antithesis of those of Labour. The object of Labour is not to destroy soi ciety, but to build it up on a basis of absolute justice and industrial peace. Syndicalism, is not Socialism, aithougfb some of its advocates seek to give It that name. Syndicalism is based on Anardhism. It is not that high order of Anarchism which postulates a people eo wise, and possessing so true a sense of justice as to need no law. That people has yet to be born. It is the Anarchy that flouts all law aud despises all authority. Socialism on the other hand is a system of perfect law based on justice and the altruism which recognises the brotherhood of man and'the duty of helping each ether."
