STRANGE BEDFELLOWS.

Politics make strange bedfellows. Among : the delegates- to the Labour Unity .Conference in Wellington last week was Colonel Allen Bell, who was for years President of the Auckland Provincial Council of the Farmers' Union, who twice eon-tested a Northem scat in the Opposition interest, and who claims (to have been god-par-ent to the compulsory system of military training.
