SEVEN PERSONS TRAMPLED TO

DEATH

LONDON, April 9. During a concert -which "was being held in connection with the Women's Patriotic League a lamp fell. The blazing oil was readily extinguished, but a wild stampede of women and children occurred. Tho narrow stainvay was choked for half an hour before it was cleared. Seven persons were trampled to death, and fifteen were terribly injured.
