PRICE OF FISH

IS THERE A RING? (Received Last Night, 9 o'clock.) SYDNEY, March 26. The Food Supply Commissioners' interim report, dealing with fish, has been tabled, and states that during the past decade prices have increased from 30 to 100 per centum. Supplies were regular, and when theire was a glut in the market, the consumers did nl-ot benefit.

Although they were unable to trace the existence of a ring, the position was thoroughly mi satisfactory. The Commission recommends the development of deep sea trawlers by the Goveimmeait.
