AUCKLAND EXHIBITION

DATE OF OPENING FIXED. j (By Telegraph — Press Association.) J AUCKLAND-, Last Night. The Exhibition Executive met today, and fixed the date of the opening of the Auckland Exhibition- for December Ist, 1913. It was decided to ask the Government for a cash grant of £2OOO. Lists of prospective guarantors were distributed, and the committee hope to have £SOOO guaranteed within a week. It was decided that any surplus be spent on improving the outer Domain where the exhibition is to be held.
