HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD
FINANCE COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Finance Committee of the Wairarapa Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was held in the Board's office, Exchange Buildings, yesterday afternoon. There were present, — Messrs E. G. Eton (chairman),..W. Fisher and J. C Ewlhgton. The Treasurer's statement showed the position of the various accounts to be as follows: Masterton Division St. John Ambulance account, cr., £1 12s lid; Maryborough Ambulance account, cr., 3d; District Nurse account, cr., £845 Is 3d; Capital Fund account, cr., £657 0s 3d; Ordinary maintenance account, cr., £2345 14s lid. Total, cr., £3700 Gs 7d. Accounts amounting in the aggregate to £llOB 'ls id .were passed for payment. The secretary was instructed to invite the members of the District Nurse Committee to meet the Board's strb-eommittee on Tuesday, 26th iiist.
Correspondence , vas dealt with in detail, and the (secretary instructed as to the course to be taken.
The action of the chairman in authorising the payment of certain accounts since the last meeting of the Board was confirmed.
In view of■ the large amount of business to be dealt with at the next meeting of the Board on Wednesday, 3rd April, it was resolved to convene the meeting for 11 a.m.
