LONDON. March 14
The House of Lords, by 95 votes to 36, have agreed to Lord Middleton's motion, demanding the removal of Mr Fitzgibbons, M.P., from the Irish Congested Districts Board, on the ground that he incited tenants to withhold their rents.
Earl Crewe admitted that the speeches were indefensible, but the Right Hon. A. Birrell (Chief Secretary for Ireland) warned Mr Fitzgibbon, who had promised to amend.
