FORTY MILE BUSH ATHLETIC SOCIETY
The annual sports, to be held at Hamua on Wednesday, March 20th, promises to eclipse all previous meetings. A hard-working committee has put the ground in perfect order, and all arrangements are well in hand. The secretary reports that entries are coming in freely. A.handsome silver , cup, presented by the W.F.C.A., is to be donated to the winner of most points in the running events. A similar cup, presented by Mr (J. Oxley, is being given for wrestling. The full programme, which is published elsewhere in this issue, shows that a good day's sport may be had by competitors and attendants. Competitors are reminded that entries close with the secretary at Hamua on Saturday, March flth, and that the necessary cash must acconruan.y , them.
